Taxi Fares to Manhattan from LGA: Breakdown of Costs

Effective April 5, 2023, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) will implement a $1.75 Airport Access Fee for all taxi pickups from LaGuardia Airport (LGA). This fee is in addition to the standard taxi fare, tolls, tips, and mandatory surcharges.

Prior to the implementation of the Airport Access Fee, the average taxi fare from LGA to Manhattan ranged from $35 to $40, excluding tolls, tips, and mandatory surcharges. With the addition of the $1.75 Airport Access Fee, the average taxi fare is expected to increase by approximately $1.75 per trip.
