Finch has over two decades of coaching experience, including stints with the Houston Rockets, New Orleans Hornets, and Denver Nuggets. He is regarded as one of the brightest offensive minds in the game. In his most recent role as the Denver Nuggets' associate head coach, Finch helped the team reach the Western Conference Finals in 2020.
