Denver Nuggets One Win Away From Advancing to Second Round
2022-23 NBA Playoffs Continue With Exciting Matchups
The Denver Nuggets took a commanding 3-0 lead in their Western Conference First Round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a 114-104 victory in Game 3 on Friday night.
Nikola Jokic led the way for the Nuggets with 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists, while Jamal Murray added 26 points and Aaron Gordon contributed 15 points.
The Timberwolves were led by Anthony Edwards' 23 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Nuggets' balanced attack.
With the win, the Nuggets move one step closer to advancing to the second round of the playoffs. Game 4 of the series is scheduled for Sunday in Denver.
In other playoff action on Friday, the Philadelphia 76ers evened their series with the Toronto Raptors at 1-1 with a 112-97 victory. Joel Embiid led the way for the 76ers with 31 points and 11 rebounds.
The Milwaukee Bucks also took a 2-0 lead in their series against the Miami Heat with a 113-84 victory. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 23 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists.
