Disney has released the official trailer and key art for the highly anticipated sequel, "Descendants: The Rise of Red." The film, set to premiere on Disney+ in June 2024, features the return of the beloved characters from the previous installments, as well as some exciting new faces.
In this exclusive first look, we get a glimpse of the magical world of Auradon and the Isle of the Lost. We also meet Red, the daughter of the Evil Queen, who is determined to prove that not all villains are destined to follow in their parents' footsteps. Along the way, she'll encounter familiar characters like Mal, Evie, and Carlos, as well as new allies and adversaries.
Star China Anne McClain, who plays Red, shared her excitement about working on the film. "It was an honor to play Red," she said. "She's a strong and determined character who represents the hope and redemption that can be found in even the darkest of places."
Alex Boniello, who joins the cast as Jack of Diamonds, also expressed his enthusiasm for the project.
