Hernandez, who won a gold and silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics, confirmed the relationship in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

The post included a photo of the couple kissing, with the caption: "Happy 2 years to my favorite person. I love you more than words can say.❤️"

Drury, who competed for the United States at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, also posted a photo of the couple on Instagram, with the caption: "Two years with my best friend. I love you more than anything. ❤️"

The couple's relationship has been speculated for months, but they had not previously confirmed it publicly.

Hernandez and Drury are both currently training for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
