Brayden Burke Joins Iserlohn Roosters

Former NHL Star Signs with German Club

Burke, who played for the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames, brings a wealth of experience to the DEL

Iserlohn, Germany - The Iserlohn Roosters of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) have signed former NHL forward Brayden Burke to a one-year contract. Burke, who played for the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames from 2013 to 2024, brings a wealth of experience to the German club.

The 29-year-old Burke has played in over 500 NHL games, scoring 100 goals and adding 150 assists. He was a key member of the Oilers' team that reached the Western Conference Finals in 2017. Burke also represented Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

"We are very excited to add Brayden to our team," said Roosters' general manager Christian Hommel. "He is a proven scorer and playmaker who will help us to be more competitive in the DEL."Burke is expected to make his debut for the Roosters in their season opener against the Adler Mannheim on September 15.
